Has anyone had experience with the ThermoEngine..

I just bought the Black ThermoEngine Heatsink/fan V60-4210 and it has a very small 60mm x 10mm fan on the HS.

Is this OK for a TBird 1.4GHz?

In addition,, I was thinking about changing fans... I have a Thermaltake 60mm x 25mm laying around (taken from a Volcano 6)... (32cfm @ 30dba)

Would this bigger fan on a Thermo engine make a nice hs-fan combo..

thx

I've heard that the Thermoengine isn't that impressive unless you put on a better fan. I'd imagine that if you use that other 60mm fan you have, then you should be alright.

BTW, what kind of fan is that? I can't find any 60mm fan with similar specs.

Ok yes .. bigger fan will be better.
Hope it is enough! May have to upgrade
to the Delta 60mm ..But heard that it's waaaay loud!

Here is the link to the
Thermaltake 60mm fan 32CFM / 31dBa

Thermaltake 60mm fan

I will be using this fan on the ThermoEngine HS..

the bigger fan will definitely help improve cooling. the delta will undoubtably give you the coolest cpu, but its sound will annoy the heck of you.
