does anyone know where i can get a Thermaltake Xaser III in the UK? Cuz i REALLY want one?

right then it is £111.00 (£130.43 Including VAT at 17.5%) excluding delivery....

does this sound about right? this is a NICE case and i really want one, but it says it is alli does this mean that the front panel is alli or is that plastic? i hope it is alluminium as it would be soooo nice 🙂

Hey bro mine will be here tomorrow so I can answer your questions then. For now, I believe it is an aluminum front panel.....not the plastic panels like on the old chenming cases. As far as price.....they go for around 180 shipped USD. I dont know the exchange rate but it seems like the VAT and shipping will make the case quite more expensive then it is here.

Ive checked my whole list of UK suppliers and drew up a blank on the Xaser III. Only seen II's
 
Hey bro I just got the case and its hella nice looking. This will be my first self built computer and this case is HUGE compared to my current one. Hell, my current one will easily fit inside this case.

The front panel is made of aluminum and the finish is truly amazing.

Give me a day or two to get it all together and then I can answer any questions you may have.

Ahem... Im going blind. Im combing that site practically every day to check out prices for my upgrade and I didnt see it.
 
I can't find one WITHOUT a windows in US for good price... :|
Although, a window could be uselful with water-cooling kit that I received
a week ago which is designed for this case 🙂 🙂
 
Sorry it took so long to get back to you.

The caseis highly recommended for both looks and quality. I bought it for the looks and the fact it was prewired with 7 fans and controller. I used the thermal probe on my CPU and it keeps temps so you can easily see which fans are most needed. The funny thing is this case has 7 case fans, 2 PSU fans (Antec 550), and a Vantec Tornado and its quieter than my old computer which had only ONE fan in it....and that was the PSU fan! I have all 7 fans wired to two controllers which leaves me 2 more for whatever I may need in the future.

Whether on high or low the CPU stays within 1-2 degrees so you can leave them low all the time without any overheating issues.

umm it sounds so tempting, i have a Enermax case with 5Fans in at the moment, and it is LOAD when i turn them all on. are these 7Fans all thermaltake? are they allready wired into the controler or do u have to do that? when you have all the fans on is it to load or can it be barable?

The Thermaltake fans come prewired but you have to hook them up to the hardcano which isnt that hard. You can daisy chain 4 fans to one controller and 3 to the other....which leaves you two controllers with nothing to do. Just make sure to read the area about the fans so that you dont overload certain controllers. 2 can handle more than 3 fans and theother 2 can only handle 3 at the most.

I sleep in the same room as my rig so I turn down the fans before I sleep and I have NO problems. Its pretty damn quiet for 10 fans in the case and you have to remember that my Vantec Tornado is ALWAYS on full cause its wired directly to the PSU. If I had a quiet HSF Id barely be able to hear the case.
