Thermaltake vs Zalman

Hey guys,
I am building a new rig, and i havent done this in a while
im going with a core i5 and a sabertooth board housed in a level 10GT thermaltake case.
i wish to put some custom cooling, but last time i built something, zalman was the coolest thing out there...excuse the pun.
what would you suggest to get?
i am not concerned with noise however i wouldnt want too many led's.
the cooler is meant to keep the un overclocked cpu working for at least 5 years.
it has to be air (i did my time with water)

let me know your thoughts guys.
 
If you're not overclocked, the stock cooler will be fine for longevity even under heavy loads.

If the noise from the stock cooler bothers you, I'd pick up either: the Scythe Kotetsu ($30-40), the Zalman Performa (<$25 after rebate at newegg), or the Cooler Master Evo (typically ~$30), and use the bios controls to keep the max RPM under control.
 
2nd the Kotetsu.

The stock cooler will last far longer than your tolerance of it's annoying noise. ;-)

The stock intel cooler is not adequate unless high temperatures under load is what you are looking for. Turn on the built in graphics and the temps go up even more. I use a cooler master hyper 212 evo with two fans in push pull and it's quiet compared to other units I've had and works very well. Just about anything out there can dissipate heat better than the stock cooler.
