Thermaltake Venus 8+

I've heard good things about it but I have no experience with it to speak personally from. I'm still on an XP chip at this time.
 
i used it for a couple of days.

its a decent HSF, a little loud

since i had a zalman CNPS 7000, there was no reason to keep using it cuz the zalman keeps my CPU a few C cooler
 
I would realy like to get the zalman, but they just dont stock it for some reason. This Monarch is so limited on their parts it is pathetic. 🙁
 
I am in Calif. I would definatly get it from new egg, only thing, I know nothing of installing them, and would be afraid to mess up the motherboard lol. :roll:

The instructions they include are actually helpful and understandable. You can't mess it up.
 
Yeah, get the AlCu version, the performance is the same and since it's lighter there's less strain on your board.

Ah ok. I can ask them if they have the AICu version. If not, maybe ill attemp it myself. Man, I wish I had someone show me hands on how to build the whole thing so I will get everything I want, and save money.

That zalman aicu link you sent me looks awesome too! Sure looks lighter!
