Thermaltake V3 or V4... How good are they?

I wonder if anyone here has used or built machines based on either of these 2.

Both of them are at a very attractive price at microcenter ($25 and $30 AR) , and I thinking of changing 2 machines that are in mATX cases (PowerSpec TX366) to the V3 or V4.

The main attractive of the cases is obviously the bottom mount PSU, and also the ability to use 120mm case fans. The TX366 is a very nice budget mATX case, but has only one 90mm exhaust fan.

Any comments?

I built three computers using the V3 case, two for co-workers and one for a neighbor. For the price I think they are an excellent value. The case is fairly, a little thin on the sides sturdy and there are no sharp edges to slice off fingers. The black interior finish is also nice. I had no problems installing the computer parts.

The HDD cage was fairly tight for installing the HD. Some negatives though, the fan mounts on the top of the case are too close to the mobo to use. The CPU HSF and RAM get in the way of any fans up there. You cannot use a standard width fan for the front fan mount as the case front will not close with a standard width fan up front. Putting a fan on the side vent is not a problem.

For the price though I thinks its a nice case and the people I built them for really like the case.

Bought two from MC over the summer, while they are a little on the flimsy side, the work excellent for basic builds and yield alot of room with many different angles of ventilation opportunities. Due to the thinner metal however, the chassis is a little on the noisy side.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll get a V3 to experiment. Looks aside, it seems the V4 is the same case, so the $5 difference is not justified vs the V3.
