Thermaltake V

Anybody else interested in the Thermaltake Element V? Seems like a pretty awesome case to me, although I am into LEDs and such. I like the fact you can switch fan speed and switch the colors and it is all built in. Inside it looks roomy and nice, and the extra HDD cage (I have an M9, I got one cage) would be very useful to me. I'm thinking about picking one up if I get the cash.

Not being made of Aluminum is not really about performance so much as weight and appearance. It looks like an OK case, but to me, it looks like a $79 case, not a $170 case

The color change fans is a neat gimmick, but if that is their "value proposition" that they think justifies the price then I would be troubled.

Still, it's your money, if it makes you feel good and you are willing to trade the dollars for the perceived happiness it will bring you, then go for it.

obviously full retail price, so cant really say anything till actual store prices are available.

However, at that price and given the features you might as well get the elementG from thermaltake. Better design and better built with the same gawdy lighting. or better yet get the elementS. both of which are running around 80-90$ after rebates at newegg.

Agreed with others - looks ok, but not something I'd spend $100+ on, especially not close to $200.

I find Thermaltake to be very mediocre with cases. They usually have good cooling and nice features, but they fall behind Silverstone, Lian-Li, Antec, and perhaps CoolerMaster in build quality.

when i look at it..

my head thinks... wanabe stacker T01.
