Posted this on the Case forum but no one replied. I have a dillemma:

Thermaltake Tsunami VA3000BWA Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail

OR

Thermaltake SHARK VA7000BWA Black Computer Case With Side Panel Window - Retail

The price is the same after a $40 mail-in rebate from the SHARK - I know newegg is very good but I have had past problems with other companies mail in rebates, e.g. they never come.

THis will be coupled with a Venice 3500+

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

Shark for sure. Awesome deal - splurge on it ASAP if I were you. They're both loud cases, but the shark is indefinately better.

I'm happy with my Tsunami -- I try to keep the tower hidden so I had no need for a window.

Voltage regulation keeps the sound down. I'm using 7V right now with the 120mm fans, but I'm dropping to 4 or 5 when I install a new controller shortly.

Agreed. Only concerns are noise (both come with stock fans that were made by Boeing), and if you do a lot of burning/ripping, the door can get annoying if you have your computer to the right of your chair. :)

And I can't believe I've been thinking about how annoying that is, and only now realized if I moved the computer to the left of the chair...

I wen't with the Tsunami. I think the Shark looks nicer but i'll be in a small ass college dorm so a smaller tower should suit me better:) Thanks for the help guys.

@Gigantopithecus - tell me about it. it's a b!tch also when you want to put headphones in - especially if the tower is on the ground to your right.
