Thermaltake Tsunami or Soprano

Looking at the specs... the Soprano is heavier... is it a heavier duty contruction? The cases seems less expensive than the Tsunami... any recommendations?🙂

Soprano is 0.8mm SECC, which is pretty much steel

Tsunami is an aluminum case

edit: i would go for the tsunami, i have it and i love it

it has removeable HDD and FDD cages . . . i dont think the soprano has that

ahhhh yes. I see the front door is plastic as well... dang. They sure make plastic look nice..lol. Tsunami then I guess... or..the Shark??

yeah, the front door is plastic in teh Soprano. The tsunami has a think brushed aluminum door, which looks sweet, but is heavy.. A couple things that you should know this applies to both cases. The fans are LOUD and the top USB, although convenient, gets in teh way of the PSU when installing. The top door is also very flimsy. I would definitely go with the Tsunami, the extra $20 for the Tsunami is worth it since you get aluminum case, better front door with LEDs, and removeable cages (very useful). You mentioned the shark, I think that case is ugly and it's too expensive even though it has a few better features.

Thanks guys! I actually broke down and ordered my case today... I picked out the "Thermaltake Shark" case in Black. Slightly thicker aluminum (1mm) and 120mm fans. Looks kinda sexy too... I hope it's a killer... I hate buying cases, then getting them.. and finding out it's garbage..lol.

Yeah... kinda ugly... but, has nice features. I admit, the style coulda been much improved... we need to graduate more people out of art school I think huh? hehe
