Thermaltake Tsunami case and Fortron AX500-A Power Supply

So here I am about finished building my first rig and I notice that while the PSU does fit, physically in the case, the screw holes are nowhere near lining up. Also, the PSU seems awfully small in comparison with the area a stock PSU would go. Suggestions on what to do or how to remedy the problem?

TIA

I agree 😀 Your not the first nor will you be the last to trick themselves like this.

I did it on my first build.

Looking at Newegg...That case does not come with a PSU addapter plate, so you must have it up-sidedown. Sometimes ppl do not try flipping the addapter plate top to bottom or side to side.
From time to time I can mess-up a three piece puzzel:laugh:

Man, I hope that is what it is. You're right, there is not adapter plate on the case nor the PSU, so I assumed that it should fit as the AX-500 PSU and the Tsunami case both are standard ATX. Man, do I hope you guys are right. And yes, the thought never occured to me to try and turn it over....D'oh 😉

Yeah, the fan on the PSU faces down. Good PSU BTW and a nice case. That case is made to
be a light weight so you might end up rubber mounting the fans if there is a vibration problem. Not a big deal, just thought I'd say it. The HDs do have rubber mounts and that's a big plus.

Well, just to follow up here...

I was a bonehead and yes, it was upside down. You can not believe the relief that gave me...yet, talk about embarrassed 😉

Thanks for the help fellas...she booted up w/o a hitch last night...save for the 2nd HDD not showing up in My Computer...but after a brief search on here, I saw I needed to partition and format it.

Thanks again fellas.

edited to add: The PSU is dead silent and the case has impressed me greatly. Very quiet fans and well made. Thermaltake gets a bad rap on these boards, but I am very happy with the case. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat.
