SVC has this HSF on sale:

flashy new TT tr2-m1 HSF

"APPLICATION
INTEL COPPERMINE 1.13 GHz TUALATIN 2.0 GHz
AMD ALL DURON SERIES & ATHLON XP 3400+ "

WTH? - the heat put out by athlons up to 3400+ are not in the same ballpark as 1.13GHz coppermines. Is this just reflecting lazy Intel update info on the site or should I be skeptical of the athlon rating???

Basically I'm looking for cheap and decent for a 2100+ to 2400+ athlon.

I'd go with GC-68 or GC-69, but their not rated that high, otherwise I'm looking at the Volvanoe 9 (which I've used several times happily)

let me know what you think, particularly if anyone has experience with this gaudy looking eye candy.

TIA

sorry for yet another HSF question...

It only fits socket a/370, thats why it lists those processors. It should be more than adequate in cooling your cpu.
