After looking at reviews and prices I was looking at this PSU to power my new system. The only problem is whether or not it would have the juice to do it. Here's what I'm thinking of so far:

ABIT IP35 Pro
E8400
8800GT
DVD Drive
2gb RAM
500gb Seagate 7200.11

Is it gonna have enough oomph to get the job done or do I have to look elsewhere?

EarthWatts is...
More efficient
Better quality (arguable, but likely)

and... #1 reason EarthWatts is better...

EA430 has 30A available for +12v, while the TR2 430W has only 18A available for the +12v.
I think you'll find that your 8800GT and E8400 may have stability problems with that little +12v power.

While I do agree with people saying that the EarthWatt is better, I have two TR2s running in my servers without any issues. One has a C2D e6300 w/ 6 drives and the other has an OC 3000+ @2/7GHz w/ 7HDs running SETI and torrents all day long without skipping a beat.

I didn't say the TR2 was a bad PSU, just that it probably doesn't have enough +12v amps for modern video cards. Have you tried putting an 8800 series video card in your servers with the TR2? Those cards can easily draw 10+ amps just on their own from the +12v rail.
