Well I bought the TT Tai Chi for my new rig. I ditched the fans on the radiator and got two Silverstone Fm121s 110CFM for the radiator and two TT A2018s 93.7 CFM to replace the front and rear. The fans i replaced with thesilverstone and new thermaltake fans was like night in day cfm wise. The waterblock was a bit tricky. I had to adjust it once it was on the CPU to make sure it made pefect contact because it's a universal one. As far as the pump goes it's still holding up but i am going to replace it next week with a swiftech one. The case itself is so sturdy it's amazing. Lots of room! even with all the room I have to be careful with the hoses and make

sure they don't get kinked while shutting the side though... I put my dvd-wrtier at the top and also my vantec hdd cooler at the top. i got the Vantec hdd cooler so the front case fan could push massive air into the case without anything in the way. Anyways now for the temps...

Opteron 170 @ 2.7ghz 1.52V Idle 21C full load 36C(2primes 15-30min)
PWM IC 41C full load
Chipset 34C full load
15GIG Raptor X in a VTX-CO1 - 24C Low Fan Speed
X1900XTX at desktop 39C Full load 68C at 30% Fan speed. (Tomorrow will apply AS5) :)

I wonder how a silver DD TDX block would compare?

Overall well worth the money.... Hope you liked my review!

UHHHHH id say more like 80 or so. The case alone weighs close to 40lbs. Drop in the HD's + PSU + Radiator and watercooling equiptment and you'll be pushing 80 easily.

My Armor weighs close to 70lbs with everything in it.

Also yes the TAI CHI is nice. I built a server from its chassie with a full watercooling and now my dad's partners wont stop bugging him in asking me to build them one as well :\

For once, its a case that looks good. For once, its something of Thermaltakes that looks good.

I just could never in a million years justify the price :|

Well, a full tower aluminum case plus a water cooling system, will run you more than 430 USD.

Its steep though.

Indeed it may but if I was building my own system, Id spend my money differently. 430 USD would buy me a better WC kit, the case of my choice and maybe even leave me with pennies for delivery costs.

If I was allowed so select any case I wanted regardless of any money concerns, the Tai Chi would be almost top of my list.

I would agree that only someone who wipes their a$$ with cash should buy that case seeing as you can get a lian li full tower v-cool case and a zalman reserator for the sames

I just bought a Lian Li PC-2000B full tower case, final tally with shipping was just shy of 300.

I did take a good long look at the Tt line though, as their case line (minus water cooling setup) are good for a cheaper price than the full tower Lian Li line.

haha how is lian li quality cases being compared to TT cases.. is it the sharp edges, the heavy weight (just turning it upright and lying down), the misleading numbers from TT fans? i dunno... my exp with TT cases just doesn't compare with my lian li v1000b

First off there are TAI CHI's without the CRAPPY TT waterkits. These cost a little cheaper then the TJ-07. I got my dad's tai chi on sale and rebate for about 250, and for that price, its wayyyy better then the CM Stalker 830.

These caes are solid and very heavy. Ive actually kicked it to see if it would warp or dent and it amazes me on how structually stable these things are. They also allow for a ease in dropping a full watercooling loop off the side pannel. No other case to my knowledge has hydrolics doors and it makes working on the case very easy.

The whole case also acts as a passive heat sink.

Now lets go to the important stuff, Tell me another case where i can drop in over 10HD's and have them all nicely cooled by a very low RPM 120mm fan. My dad's server is currently running dual 280's with 10 Hard drives. YES I SAID 10 HARD DRIVES. There all sitting behind 120mm scythe FDB fans at 1200 RPMs and there kept really nice and cool. Even with the full watercooling loop, the case allows plent of room to work inside without having to worry about kinks and tubes getting in the way.

Show me another case that allows u to mount this on the side pannel door for cheaper then 300 before you start flaming the price on this case.

2 D5 Liang pumps 120x3 Swiftech QP radiator, Swiftech micro-res.

EDIT: no asking JEN aka MOO to construct you a case, because im sure she could do it cheaper then 300 :X but then thats a REAL REAL Custom case

Guys, I don't agree with the OP on his purchase, but rather than trash him on his review/buy; why not either ignore the thread, or say "Nice review."

Quit threadjacking.

Nice review, BTW. Better options, but as far as a pre-built system goes, good stuff.

What temperature is your room @, out of curiousity?
