Not meant to thread crap, but this thing is bad. I guess its worth 5$ to use just as a spacer, but even that has issues...its a small hard plastic shell and getting your laptop propped up on there and getting it to stay on top is difficult since its not full coverage (and its really tall). The fans are poor quality and dont move much air (well it is USB powered) plus the fan speed controller is total junk and basically doesnt work...you have to jiggle it around to get the fans to turn on. I only got this during a previous promo where it was 5$ as filler to get me free shipping. I have seen better ones for 10-15$, actually there were some others from Thermaltake that might be better. Id suggest finding something a little thinner with more surface area so the laptop can sit on it better while your using it.
