thermaltake power supplies provide low 12v current

browsing power supplies on newegg for a friend, i checked out a couple of thermaltakes, as thats what i'm running right now. comparing a thermaltake 480w to antec's and enermax's offerings, i find the latter two pushing a lot more current over the 12v rail. this pretty much holds true across thermaltake's line.
i'm wondering how much of a difference it makes, as my sys is fully loaded right now and my voltages don't vary more than 3% of spec....

Well i have true480 and thermaltake butterfly 480.
In my opinion both psu is fine.
This means it passed prime95 loops for over 12 hours
pass other tests and no instability.

My Tt 480 is a bit high on all rails
3.3 = 3.4
5 = 5.1
and 12 = 12.1
when it is under a lot of load the 12 rail will drop to 11.85 - 11.977
all rails within 2% or even less.

But i must say Antec True480 is more on the spot on the voltages.

In fact as long as it is within 5% it should be allright.

Do you have the 420W version?
that one is a bit weak, but the 480 is ok.
