Did a search on this and couldnt find anything,so I thought I would ask..Are ThermalTake power supplies any good? I have a Abit AV8 3rd eye Mobo, and have read that they have problems with Antec..so I went to Abit's website, and a recommended brand for a PSU was Thermaltake,I was looking at this one..

http://www.newegg.com/app/view...amp;manufactory=BROWSE

Anyone have any experience with Thermaltake PSU's?

Thanks in advance!

And the $90 has Active PFC (Power Factor Correction) where the $50 one doesn't even have passive PFC.

But PFC isn't really needed, so I wouldn't pay $40 for PFC 🙂

Yep, I've used a Thermaltake Super Silencer 420W for the past 6 months. No problems.

Except it's a bit loud because it has 2 fans.

They're decent. Not great, but not terrible. The 420W Thermaltake I have has virtually the same amperages as my Sonata's 380W Antec TruePower (older 18A version).
