Thermaltake Giant II

anyone have any experience with these? i see alot of people using Zalman, but i like thermaltake's rep and the way the Giant II looks. i have a radeon 9700 pro. any comments?

The Giant II works, but it's not really good for OCing IMO. You can probably squeeze an extra 10-15 Mhz out of the core, but the RAM you'll have to leave at default unless you have some extra cooling. I beleive this is mostly due to the Giant trapping heat on the RAM. You might want some ramsinks and an extra fan if you plan on OCing much... Water is much better if you can afford it :)

is the ram cooling problem true with zalmans too?
