Fry's regular price is $9.99. They seem to put them on sale once a month for $5.99; that's when you want to buy them.

Installation is very easy. Pull your memory from it's bank/s and used the enclosed clips to fasten the heat sinks over your memory chips. (I have double-sided memory so I used a plate on each side of the stick.) Then re-install your memory. Since these are passive heat sinks "ease-of-use" really isn't an issue.

These really don't do a whole lot in terms of actual cooling but they do look slick. They're a nice finishing touch, especially if you have a case window.

Yeah, they're nice. I've got a single one myself (was in the same package as the heatsinks I got for my old GF2 Pro card).
I'm more interested in the ones with a fan on on 'em though, according to a review they should help keep the ram quite a bit cool, maybe I would be able to run 164fsb then (the max of the mobo).

I was watching a review of the Thermaltake RAM coolers, and the consensus was that yes, they do cool the RAM a LITTLE, but that it has absolutely no affect on max speed, overclockability, etc. I think the only reason you'd want to use them are for 1. Eyecandy (on a windowed case) and 2. to lower the overall temp of the case. (Well, actually, to avoid adding any additional heat, as the effect is so neglegible)
