ThermalTake cases, version II vs. III

Was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with either of these cases. IIRC, the only differences are color, aluminum vs. steel casing and side windows/no windows. The II version vs. the III seems to be only the number of fans. Are there any functional differences between the two versions? Anyone have any opinions either way or to avoid this line of cases completely due to price/performance? Thanks for your advice in advance.

I have the ver. II case. Pretty good case. Had a problem with the fron door the hinges broke, The door is real heavy and the hinges are guided by plastic posts so the weight of the door broke them. Called thermaltake and in four days had a new front panel at no charge.

Don't like the window as it just shows all of the dusty hardware and wish it had a little bit more room inside seems to be a bit overcrowded. But overall I like it.

I've got the V II as well and it does the business if you ask me. It has no window and I've soundproofed it so it weighs a ton but it's quiet and relatively cool with only 2 of the 5 fans running...The front usb connections can get in the way of the case door but that's my only minor gripe...It doesn't half look like a beardy enthusiasts machine though, so there's no pretending to your mates/lovers that you only have a casual interest in geekdom! 😀

Thanks for the input. Next machine I build, I am going with the version II. Heat has always been my bane and this seems like a great cure =).
