Thermaltake Armor Jr. Questions

I saw this case's big brother the Armor suggested in a gaming rig guide. I don't use more than 2 Hard Drives or 1-2 5.25" slots so I don't see the need for the expense of a full tower (Unless they have other major benefits I don't know about). Is this case a good deal? Does it have good enough cooling to handle a Intel Q6600 with Geforce 8800 GTS 640MB?? Is there a much better case with a good luck in that same $100 range? Thanks!

No bragging rights... Personally, I wouldn't buy a Jr anything...

If it was me, I'd get an Antec Super Lanboy!

Doesn't 'Super' sound better than 'Junior' - and it's probably a better case? 😀

There's thermaltake tsunami and soprano's that look good too, in that price range. So does the p180b/p182. Perhaps antec 900?

Some notes on the Armor Jr.: the silver version is all-aluminum (most being 0.8mm which is kind of flimsy for aluminum and the thinnest I recommend for steel cases) thus half the weight of the black version on which only the bezel is aluminum. I see they made the common mistake of putting mesh in front of the fan for the HDD cage - very restrictive and will quickly get messy (and yet more restrictive) as it will be acting as a filter too.

You might also want to look at the Cooler Master Mystique 632 which has a good deal going on at http://www.SVC.com on the few models they have left 'til the end of the month. Those are the all aluminum models. There is a cheaper version that has Al bezel and steel chassis.
