ThermalTake 9 Coolmod; Case leds and fan leds?

On the thermaltake 9 Coolmod, you have the option of connecting your fan to your power led and your HDD Activity led on your mobo. However, if you do this you can't connect it to your front case led's. According to thermaltake's website you cant make a Y Spliter for your leds as the voltage wont be enough to power all of the leds. Has anyone managed away around this?

The coolmod from my smartfan2 is sitting in a box because its annoying. My case is at eyelevel and an almost conintuous non-repeating blinking led is just kinda silly to me. There really isn't anyway you can split the output.

Make yourself an opamp, then you could have as many leds you want running of the mobo header
