hi guys. ive got a thermaltake venus 12 hsf on my rig at the moment.
running a 400mhz o/c sometimes my pc crashes during real intensive gaming!! i have a musketeer, and the temps are considerably higher according to that on the o/c then @ stock.

has anybody got a thermalright xp-120 hsf? if so what are your impressions of this product?
how much better than my current hsf do you think it is, and do you reccon it will be enuff to tame the overclock?
any thauhgts?

The XP-120 is ALOT better than the venus12.
Not only will it cool better, it will be quieter than your venus12 with a good fan on it.
Im not sure if the xp-120 fits on the vnf3-250, i know the xp-90 does though.

What fan would you recommend for the XP90? I plan on getting one soon to go with my 3200+ winchester but am not sure about the fan.

edit: I plan to overclock it.

yes that is a great fan, but pretty much any 92mm fan that will run at 3100 rpm is best noise to performance.
