Thermalright XP-120 or Zalman CNPS7700-Cu?

i would say they both do an excellent job. get the xp-120 if you do seriuos overclocking or the zalman for a cheaper, yet reliable cooler. also its quieter (with xp-120 fan)

I am a huge fan of the 7700 (I have one in my machine) but I haven't actually had a chance to test the XP-120 so I can't speak of that one.

I just like my 7700 because people look at it with shock and awe on thier faces, and I'm afraid to turn my tower upright for fear of the 3 pound heatsink ripping my mobo in half...

Oh yea, it's quiet too.

Consider an XP-90C as well, even if 80mm fans are typically louder w/ less airflow. They do a pretty good job for about that price range.
I'd go with the 7700 just because it's copper though. Close one there.
