Thermalright XP-120 or XP-90

I think I've more or less decided to get a Thermalright heatsink for my upcoming build. It's for an Opteron 148 on an Epox EP-9NPA+Ultra motherboard.

Would I be fine with a $30 Thermalright xp-90 or would it be worth $15 more to get a Thermalright xp-120 or xp-90 copper? Would I have any problem getting the xp-120 onto the Epox motherboard? Any problems with fitting the xp-90s?

Right now I'm leaning towards the plain xp-90.

I've had the XP-90 and the SI-120 is by far the better sink. Would have tried the Ninja but the weight issue held me back. Not worth it in my opinion... 600g plus fan weight for maybe 1-2Cs difference. You can always increase the fan slightly on the SI-120 to outweigh any losses to the Ninja. If you have a Antec P-180 case I would consider the Ninja for the straight shot airflow to the back otherwise no.

Plain XP-90 from heatsinkfactory.com ($27 and cheap shipping). Get a really quiet fan with it, and it'll still cool well. Since I have the same board, I'll suggest that you orient the heatsink with the pipes towards the back of the case.

IMHO

Scythe Ninja - ultimate quietness and really good because you can have a maximum of 4 fans blowing onto it.
XP-120- huge and might have issues fitting it in certain mobos
SI-120 - don't know how well it cools but I heard its basically the xp-120 w/o mobo compatibility issues
XP-90 - best bang for the buck/ you can get a really quiet fan or if ur an o/cer a vantec tornado and o/c like anything; cheap
