Thermalright XP-120 Installation

Cares

Senior member
I just installed my XP-120 to my DFI LanParty UT nF4 Ultra-D. So annoying! The installation took forever but my CPU temps have dropped at least 5 degrees with Ceramique as well. My fingers hurt from trying to mount it.

How hot do your graphics cards get? Using nVidia Monitor or whatever, it says my card is 63 celcius while gaming. Too hot?

Video cards tends to run fairly hot (especially under load). Dependng on the card, you should be good until around 70C.

My xp-90 was a b!tch to install... I was used to the stock HSF, so this was pretty difficult. I had to undo all my wiring to get to all sides (my case is pretty small). It was well worth it though. I get much better temps... I think if I put a better layer of AS5 on (i disdn't put much on) I could be doing even better.
