Thermalright Ultra 90 review

Thanks lifeguard.

90grams lighter and uses a 92mm fan and preforms as well as a XP-90C. Noise is the down side for full potential for both. Well if a 120 makes thing too crowded, we have a choice. For AMD there's the 64Pro 😀 for those seeking a cross flow cooler.

Didn't the HR-01 lack support for fans (passive only)? Maybe thats differance between the HR-01 and the Ultra 90?

A 120 would have to be rigged to fit the HR-01. As a passive it's bested by the Ninja.
ThermalRight sells an optional blue flex duct to hook-up to a rear 120 case exhaust fan,
for those smart enough to buy a case with 2x120s 😉

The Ultra 90 has three heat pipes, the HR-01 has four...Or 6 vs 8 if one counts like that.

Amazingly enough, the HR-01 is on sale @ Sidewinder computers. If it is $36 for this, I wonder how much the U90 would be on entry?
