Thermalright Ultra 90 case compatability question

I was wondering if anybody has any experience using a Thermalright Ultra 90 heatsink with a Coolermaster Praetorian or a Coolermaster Wavemaster case. The heatsink is pretty tall, and it looks like it will be a pretty tight fight for these cases.

Thanks

The height of the HSF is a minimal issue - it's the diameter. Some cases locate the PSU pretty close to the edge of the mobo, so you don't want a HSF that hangs much past the edge of the mobo in the direction of the PSU. The CPU socket location on the mobo is important too, you can look at a picture of a mobo and tell if a radial fan like that will fit in most case/mobo combos.

Oops, I was thinking of a diff HSF - that HS is 6" high from the top of the CPU. Any case that's nearly 8" wide or more should do it. I'd want to tether that monster to the PSU or something to take some of the stress off the mobo/CPU socket. The narrowest of the cases you mentioned is 7.8". So it should be no problem.

Perhaps someone with specific experience will answer.

And I agree that there are several better values in HSFs out there. This one for example:
