Thermalright Ultra 120 Is Too Big

The height of the thing doesn't fit in my Thermaltake xaser lanfire case are their any other good cpu coolers that are smaller? Odd thing is that this case seems to be quite high. I wonder how anyone can fit it in a case.

Does 120 or 90 fit a mid tower case?

is it the fan in the window keeping you from installing it..? I'd remove the side window fan if it's a tossup between the hsf or a side window fan..

no, its the window that is keeping me from using it.

oh, and this is for a conroe build i'm working on. so a conroe fitting hsf recommendation that would fit would be great.

Will the xp-120 fit in my Asus P5W DH Deluxe motherboard? And its compatible with a conroe cpu right?

hmm not 100% sure, the thermalright xp-120 page shows it supporting "Intelentium-4 LGA775 2.8GHz and above", but the motherboard compatibility list currently only has info on s478 boards.

Check out the SI 120, it's a redesign of the XP 120 so it's more compatible.
