Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme out yet?

I don't think it's been released yet. There's no note of it on thermalright's website and the Anandtech review mentioned mounting problems, which are probably being ironed out before a release.

damn, was looking to order a new hsf today 🙁

Wait another month and there might be a chance you'll spot one (and then it'll be OOS before you know it because all the other air cooling freaks are thinking the same thing as you).

i cant wait that long. im running a e6300 at 3.14 on a stock heatsink. any advice on what to get?

I would recommend the standard ultra 120.
I'm using it right now and it's keeping my temps of my E6400 @ 3.6GHz @1.58125v at a nice 39C idle, 58C Orthos load/63 100% TAT load w/ Arctic Silver 5.

I am sure you will be very happy with the "original" Ultra 120. As the reviews have shown, it is, if not the best heatsink, at least tying for the best heatsink on the market.
