Just bought the thermalright 947U heatsink yesterday noon
Wanted to install it this morning but I wasn't sure the correct way to do it.
So I went to the thermalright official site and read the installation guide posted by them
However, I'm still not very clear about some of the steps so I'm here to ask for you guys guidance.

SLK947U step3: "Now we put the standoffs on to secure the X-plate. Please put the appropiate plastic washer on the standoffs before putting them on the motherboard PCB."

Now there are 2 types of washers here, and later on I read the slk900U installation and it says that:

SLK900U: "For motherboards with small diameter mounting holes, (e.g. ABIT NF7-S rev. 2) our new standoffs need to put both plastic washers on: the thicker small one on first, so the Large thinner one will be right on the Motherboard PCB."

I have the ABIT NF7-S REV2.0. Now I'm very confused here because from the pictures I can see that the SLK947U standoffs look exactly the same as the SLK900U standoffs. I guess they are the same standoffs. So now do I need to put both plastic washers on (again I have the ABIT NF7-S rev2.0) or just put the appropiate plastic washer? If the latter one is the correct way, which washer is the appropiate washer for NF7-S REV2.0?

thanks

Well I have a 900U if that helps, and I had noticed they put up new instructions, so I checked them out, and became confused about the washers too, so I emailed Thermalright just to make sure I had installed it right on my board (NF7-S) and heres what they said,

To determine how many washers should be use, you have to know which standoffs you are using. If you are using the stainless ones, two washers are fine with all motherboards and should provide more than decent performance, however in case of motherboards with small mounting holes like yours, 1 small one can provide some additional pressure down to CPU die (not recommended on older ceremic package CPU since they are more brittle than new ones.) and additional 1~2°C can be squeeze out from using just 1 washer per standoff.

Hope that helps, and if not, email them too! ;) Oh yea, and they told me they have a Heatpipe heatsink on the way for AMD :D
