thermalright sk6 question

i just put this thing on my motherboard and i have this weird feeling like its not on there real tight. does anyone have this heatsink and is it supposed to be kind of easy to move if you are, say, twisting it up and down. anyways, for whats supposed to be a pretty decent heatsink it comes with a real lousy clip and no screws or anything else to hold it.

how can i find out if things are getting too hot down there other than waving my hand around the processor? sheesh. like i said, i cant tell right now if its making good contact or not.

btw, i took off the pads on the corners of my tbird which i prolly shouldnt have done. any suggestions on what to do would help a lot.

I have the sk6 mounted on a Iwill kk266. It seems to be on nice and snug, I didn''t exert a lot of pressure on it but did twist and try to wiggle is a little bit. It setting on firmer than my alpha pal6035 did.

Just installed mine last night... I like the clip since the pressure require to install isn't quite as insane as the FOP38, and it feels REAL tightly installed.

thanks guys.. do you think it might be because i took the pads off my tbird? its on an epox8k7a and i remember i have the two raised parts of the heatsink facing up and right like youre supposed too and i have the part of the clip with the little notch on it on the top of the processor. i put an alpha on my sisters and it definitely is not on tighter than hers. hers is almost core-cracking tight. i'm still not sure what the problem is..grr
