Just received my AX7. The bottom looks like it is pretty smooth. Do I need to lap it or does it come lapped enough to use right out of the box? Also, inside the box are four rubber do-hickies. I take it they mount under the fan, which sets atop the AX7, right? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
 
Your right the little rubber things go between the fan and the heatsink. I didn't bother to lap mine and its working as expected, Great
 
Thanks for the input Graz. Would have responded sooner but I am stationed in Germany and when I am up everyone in the states is sleeping and visa-versa.
