Hi i own a evga 6800 128mb in my drivers it sais the temp at which the card will throttle is
127 degrees to prevent damage.. the highest i get is 72 my quetion is does the card throttle only when it reaches that temperature... the highest i think it could get is maybe 80 after gaming for like 3 hours.. is it throttling at that level or will it only begin to throttle when it reaches 127... oh and does nvidia software do a good job with temps or is it buggy and inaccurate

I'm having a hard time understanding what you wrote, but I think yoru question is does the card throttle at 127 or before it reaches 127?

If it says the temp at which the card will throttle is 127, then the card will throttle when it hits 127, not when it hits 80.
