I'll get right to it. I cut one of the wires of the thermal sensor on my Volcano 9. After soldering it back together the fan refuses to spin faster than 1500RPM. I could try soldering it with better solder or I could just buy a new thermal sensor so does anyone know where I can get one without having to buy an entire new heatsink.

Right now I have it rigged up with the manual control so I can keep it around 3000RPM. I really like the thermal controlled fan speed though and would like to get this thing running right again.

can you just replace the fan? but i think that will set you back around $15, if you want the same fan.
