thermal paste for GPU ram water block?

Do i need an epoxy-like thermal paste to get my GPU ram water block on and if so, is AS5 sitcky? i think i've heard it 'sets' in 24 hours.

AS5 is NOT a glue or adhesive and should not be used as such. It does not harden or set up.

What in the heck are you talking about?

It's hard to give advice (or even uninformed opinions) if you don't tell us what hardware you are using. What video card? What "GPU ram water block"?
