Hello guys.

In the process of building my new system and I have a Sapphire M/board and an AMD64 3000+ CPU. I am not going to OC it. I will be using an X850XT so my case will already be hot enough to bake a pizza (according to all the reviews) and my case is not that good at airflow (I think). I might buy an aftermarket cooler but I might not.

Is the following good paste? I ask because it is the only stuff in town that I can get.

OCZ Ultra 5+ - silver compound, 3g

Please keep in mind that I live in Canada, so I cannot buy anything from a U.S. retailer since the shipping would be $15+ plus (then add the exchange and duty, whee)

Also, if I use the AMD heatsink, should I take the thermal pad thing and use the OCZ paste? If yes, then where is a good guide at removing that stuff?

Thanks

If you're going to be using stock heatsink, no point in using anything other than the thermal pad. It's Shin Etsu paste anyway. High quality stuff.
