Thermal Pads?

I have a MSI laptop where the heatsink on the cpu/gpu probably does not sit as flush to the chips as it should. Therefore although I install arctic silver I feel it doesnt adequately bind the heatink to the chips. As a result I was considering trying to put a thermal pad on the heatsink and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations as to where to find one or which one to use. Thanks.

There are really only three brands of pad worth considering for modern computer chips: Shin Etsu, Honeywell and Chomerics. Here is a place to get Shin Etsu:
