I just got an FOP32-1 for my K6III+... I was wondering if I should remove the little thermal pad on the thing and use some heat grease?



All I can say about the clip is DAMMMMMM :Q .... that thing was a pain... I had to break out the standard screwdriver so I could push down on it and still manuver the locking clip into place... I do like have the 3 pin fan though...
 
I got to thinking about that after reading a couple of other posts here and on other boards. It's just a little pad in the middle... oh well guess I need to take that damm thing off... ughhh....
