i'm sure alot of people are gonna tell you how much junk the Radio Shack stuff is and how great the Artic Silver stuff is. well, dont listen to them. i've tried both compounds and ones just as good as the other. plus, the Radio Shack stuff is ALOT cheaper than the A.S. stuff.

thanks, just wondered because the grease is priced at $1.99 and the paste is $14.00, why the difference?

My radio shack only carries "Heatsink Compound" and it was only 2 bucks. Yours has paste? Anyways I have used the 2 dollar stuff, works fine for a P3 overclock 750 to 930. So should be ok for you.

(in refernce to radio shack vs. Arctic Silver)
Wow, and CPU GURU has stepped forth amung us. Gimme a break:disgust:, you've posted NO data, no temps, application methods, ambient air temps, what you used to make your measurements along with the accuracy and margin of error.

I'd rethink and research his advice very carefully before taking it!
