thermal fan control...?

first, i think it's safe to assume that the fan in the antec sx-830 power supply is thermally controlled, right?

ok, assuming i'm right, it also seems that the reason for the thermal control is so that it doesn't spin as fast (and produce more noise) when there isn't that much heat...am i still correctso far?

now, is there a way to TURN OFF THE THERMAL CONTROL? i have the sx-830 with 5 80mm fans and a wbk38 with the loud delta...i don't care if the power supply fan adds a decible or two...is there a way to get it to just spin at max speed all the time? is it stupid to do this?

i just wanted to know before i take this thing apart...

I don't know about your PS. But if it's thermally controlled you try this link. It won't be the same, but atleast you have an idea.

cool, thanks...i'm not sure if i feel like doing that but i am glad to know there is something that can be done (for when i feel daring)
