Thermal display installation question

hey everyone, I recommended a friend to sign up here since this is a great place to find answers, but when he tries to sign up an account over here, he can't, for some reason AOL email addresses aren't accepted. 😕 Anyway, Im trying to help him out and so i'm posting his question here in hopes that maybe you guys can answer.

He is trying to get his thermal display on his case working. there are two wires he says, hdd lead and
a thermal wire. he does not know where to put these wires. he uses the ASUS A7N8X Deluxe mobo, all help
is greatly appreciate. thank you in advance. 🙂
 
hdd lead goes to the pins on the mobo to show hdd activity

By thermal wire, do you mean the sensor is self? If so, put it on the thing he wants monitored
 
mindwreck, thx for the reply..... yes he means the sensor. he wants to monitor the cpu temp. is that suppose to go underneath the processor? like how some of the volcano heatsink sensors from thermaltakes are done?
