How long does the stuff on non-sabertooth mbs last? After a few years, does it actually make the southbridge chip hotter? It's always looked like it's pretty hard to get undo the pushpins and replace with AC MX-2. It's easy with a video card, but those use screws rather than pushpins.

I always have some arctic silver 2 piece thermal compound remover and purifier, so I can replace stock thermal compound with AC MX-2.
