Good call VinDSL!!

Those small heat sinks are a bear to attach without something like Frag Tape!!
But maybe the OP doesn`t know that some vga heat sinks already come with an adhesive thermal tape attached!!

Yeah, but the thing is...

Jap frag works the best! It's expensive and hard as hell to find.

I can guarantee you that whatever 'they' include with these HSs doesn't hold a candle to genuine nipponese frag tape, you know? 😉

hey,
thanks for the reply... These HSs have been removed and reapplied a couple of times.. need something to replace what came on them..

that Frag Tape does look what I need...

VinDSL, do ya know of any place to buy in bulk???

thanks, finkle

Bulk buys by PM or email only here at AnandTech, they are not to be posted in the forums.
You can buy bulk, post it for sale in our For Sale or Trade Forum, then link the post in your sig.

Fixed it...

hey GY do these work on the EVGA ram chips? OMG ive tried everything short of using a adhesive, and i cant seem to keep these buggers on.

Im about to swap to a different waterblock because of this.

Hey op i know of a different solution ive been using.

Just spread AS5 over the memory. A thin layer like your going to do a Die. Then add a drop of crazy glue in the corner and then stamp the ram over.

Thats how i got my evga ram to stick to the sinks. And its not perm either because if im stupid and messy, i can knock them off with my watertubes on accident. :X

Anyone else use this method... Looks like it ought to work.. Unless Super Glue melts RAM material... whatever it's made of??? 😉

thanks 🙂

We got your bulk Jap Frag Right Here.

2000 sq in for 14 bucks, sounds like a lifetime supply to me :Q

OK... I remember now, I posted this link here before and the autocensor mangled it. The part that's asterisked out should contain the letters "S" "E" and "K" in that order, and uppercase.

Or just Froogle for Sekisui 5760.

OMG, why didn't I know of this when I ordered from that place a couple months ago? I don't "need" any right now, but it sure sounds handy to have around. Bookmarked for later.
