And I need advice on how to proceed.
Heres the story:
I work at a university, the university is made up of lots of colleges, and has a central computer services department. I work as IT support in one of the colleges, she works in the central computer services (which we'll call UCS so I dont have to keep typing it. mumble mumble cut&paste mumble mumble
). When we order software we do it through UCS, so off I go to get some order forms which they write out for us with all the details.
Anyway, I've seen this girl there, and had the pleasure of dealing with her a few times. She would always say hello and be friendly, even if i was dealing with someone else. On Tuesday I go over and have to queue. She appears from nowhere, and helps me out, being all cute and friendly and nice and stuff. Meanwhile, I'm thinking of asking her name, when someone comes out of a room, and calls "Caroline" and she looks round saving me the trouble of asking her, turns out she should have been doing something else instead of helping me.
As I'm about to go she says "Whats your name?", I open my mouth to speak and she says "Just so I know who keeps coming for these bloody forms" (and proceeds to smile sweetly, while trying to look everywhere else except directly at me). so I say "Dave" and have to hold on to the table as my legs started to buckle.
We go our seperate ways, me trying to walk properly out the room as my legs are still like jelly, she walks off to do what she should have been doing.
A few days have passed and I cant stop thinking about her. I dont know if to just march up there and ask her out or to see how it progresses naturally.
Am I reading too much into this? (which is usually what happens), or do you think she is remotley interested?
I can honestly say that a girl has never got me in such a state before, I'm shaking just typing this post, not been sleeping too well, cant concentrate.
help!
