There's got to be a better way to cut your finger nails!

Option 1: Cut them with a fingernail clipper
Option 2: Bite them off (disgusting)

I cut my fingernails once a week, and I absolutley dread it. It's 2006, and we still only have but two options to get rid of finger nails.

Are you trying to complicate the still simple tool of the nailclipper and still simple task of clipping nails?

If you've ever used one to finish small parts, you know how quickly efficient they are on fingernails.

Are you serious? It takes a couple of minutes to clip your nails. Do it after a shower when they're soft and you don't have to worry about it for a week. Sheesh...

I'm still working on my hydrogen laser clippers. I'll let you know when I'm done....I should be about halfway there as I've only got 5 fingers left.

You "dread" clipping your fingernails? Is there some childhood trauma missing from the OP?

I wonder how much the nail clipper industry nets annually...

Maybe Big Pharma should start investing some R&D into a medication that'll stop (or radically slow) nail growth.

No childtrauma, or anything like that. It's just annoying and tedious.

It's actually quite satisfying.

I can kind of understand. I hate having long fingernails more though. :p If I forget to clip them when I was planning to it bugs the sh1t out of me because of the way they feel. Even worse if I forget two days in a row.

My biggest grooming peeve is shaving though. I hate shaving. I wish I could completely halt facial hair growth, or at least severly retard it. One of these days I'm gonna give shaving with a nice safety razor/badger hair brush a try though.

Yea, satisfying once your fingernails are cut, but a PITA when you actually have to cut them.

I have a childhood trauma. When I was a youngin my hands weren't strong enough to use the clippers. So my dad would trim them for me. He liked to clip nails as far back as possible - which left them sore and sensitive. I dreaded it.
