Usually they just fly over on their way to the airstrip. But this guy is just hovering there in one spot. Guess they're doing some kinda sensor data collection.

My little brother used to do that with the civil air patrol. Guess they fly over and take infrared scans of peoples homes, looking for hi-temps associated with heat lamps or something.

Well, Heat lamps or air conditioners. I'm not a hundred percent, I'll ask my DEA friend.

But me, I'd definitely be runnin at the moment. I also woulda peed on my laptop. DOD has their recovery methods, but I doubt they'll use em.

Put the guns down and come out with your hands up, nobody else has to get hurt!

F^ck that! Go out in a blaze of glory, don't let them take you alive!

A Hind ? All the way from Russia ?

Actually there are a total of 3 'Real' Hind mi-24's in the U.S. posession, captured and brought back
for study.

There is a company in Florida that re-fits some of the old recip engined Sikorsky's from the 50's & 60's
into 'Hind Clones' by adding pods & panels to mimic the appearance - hard to tell them apart, and then
they put heater blankets in the dorsal area of the shell to duplicate the thermal and infared image that
a real Hind would produce. These are used for combat training simulation 'in the wild'.

Hind (Apache sequel) was a great PC game. Lots of low-end polygonalicious quasi-3D fun :)
