If you leave it THEY will come ... meaning more ducks and then its game over .. Ducks breeding in your backyard .. i remember an Animal special or something that had a family that has ducks going to theyre backyard every year ..

Yup. It is indeed a hybrid between a domestic duck and a mallard. The blue wing bars are highly suggestive of that.
