There's a chance the Doom movie might actually be good!

Well if it wasn't for "the Rock" I might have agreed. Other aspects of the film seem to make that statement true, I just think the Rock is a horrible actor. At least it will be Rated R

Are we going to be able to turn up the gamma during this movie?

If not, it's going to be too damn dark! :D

But its still "Resident Doom", right? Disease zombies instead of a portal to hell... what the heck is the point?

Doom = one marine against a portal to hell.

Resident Evil = group of highly trained military folks against disease-created zombies.

I'd say it's the other way around. If he can use a gun and a flashlight at the same time in the movie, why wasn't I able to do that in the game?

Um...yeah...I'll have to disagree with you there.

The Rock is the only reason the movie might be watchable... :)

The solution is obvious. Duct tape.

All we need are diseased zombie hell beasts. That movie will make millions

Damn, I was about to make the same comment. It'd suck to see a monster, then black screen and muzzle flashes, then a flashlight again the entire movie.

THe rock does not need a gun and a flashlight. He can just one shot the demons with the flashlight.

The thread title reminded me of a scene from Dumb & Dumber:

Lloyd: What are the chances of a guy like you and a girl like me...ending up together?
Mary: Not good.
Lloyd: You mean not good like one out of a hundred?
Mary: I'd say more like one in a million.
Lloyd: So you're telling me there's a chance? Yeah! I read ya.
