It's annoying because my boss just dropped off a box of high-end DDR2 5300 on my desk. There's like 24, 2GB DIMMs.....why didn't they order the 4GB DIMMS. It would have saved space.

Bah, I sat on 50Gb of Ram at work during the summer. Two whole boxes in individual containers. I even got to install about 10 of them. Too bad it was DDR1 333.

I think that my record was 64 GB, which came as a mix of 1 GB, 2 GB, and 4 GB DIMMS. I was trying to upgrade a bunch of ESX boxes to 16 GB each.

I would take even a shitty machine with vista over a high end gaming rig with XP, for sure.

Look at the cheap laptops/desktops that come with vista and come back to me with your findings. Please use MLA format.

one of the few things I miss about that job
