There was a shooting right outside my house this morning

I woke up to a police officer ringing my doorbell and asking me whether or not I saw something this morning. Well, apparently a couple houses away someone was shot and killed at 6am in the morning. They've got a portion of the street blocked off (my car included) and have the crime scene guys around. My grandparent's were awake during the whole thing and heard multiple gunshots (one of which broke my uncle's car window).

It sucks living near the ghetto.

There are shooting outside my house all the time. Of course, it's usually the wife and I target shooting.

We used to drive out to the rich folks neighborhoods on many occasions to cause trouble by shooting out car windows with our BB guns, doing burnouts on the lawns, smashing mailboxes, etc. I feel partially responsible for the advent of the gated community 😱

I'm currently staying about 1/2 block from the local ghetto until my new place becomes available (tomorrow, thank god).
