You can always make a macro using autohotkey or similar program that replaces the number lock enter with =.

Theres literally dozens of ways to get stuff done in Excel. I dont know why this one thing would be a serious hindrance.

RPN forever! If I was doing a bunch of calcs on a computer, I'd be using an RPN calculator. Otherwise, I'd use my RPN hardware.

Another reason why the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 is the best keyboard.

enter, parenthesis, and backspace above the numpad

Mine has equals, parenthesis, and backspace, and yes, it is the best keyboard.

Ugh! I absolutely CANNOT STAND keyboards like that one.

- Non-standard layout
- Win key is almost completely under the Z
- F keys aren't grouped properly

It could only be worse if it was Euro-style with the L-shaped enter key and tiny backspace.

At least he told me the work around. All I can assume is you were just as lost with what I meant as "Fritzo". You can thank KT for teaching you something today as well.

Thanks KT

WTF- You don't state the problem you're having, but complain about an effect it's having and expect people to answer it? I can show you a lot of things about Excel if you ask a damned question. I'm going to start doing that.

It was pretty clear what he meant. Don't go crying because you need everything spelled out for you.

Macs have it. And I don't like it because other keys are displaced in a non-standard way.

This. OP: Buy a full-sized Apple keyboard and deal with your oversized plus key being split into a plus and minus with the forward slash and minus signs pushed to the right to make way.
